Azerbaijan to Launch Production of Next-Generation 4LL Locomotive Oil

The production of “AMINOL” branded lubricants began on December 15, 2017, at the area allocated to “ALCO” LLC in the Sumgayit Chemical Industrial Park, using the most advanced German technology. This milestone coincided with the visit of President Ilham Aliyev to Sumgayit city. The plant has an annual production capacity of 30,000 tons and an investment volume of 10 million USD. The facility mainly produces engine oils, industrial oils, hydraulic oils, compressor oils, turbine oils, transmission oils, and marine oils. For over a year, the AMINOL Lubricant Plant has been the first local manufacturer producing high-quality aviation oil that meets international standards. Recently, the AMINOL Lubricant Plant received the “Fundamental Approval” — a primary certification — from the global giant General Electric (GE) for its AMINOL M-14D2 locomotive oil. With this achievement, AMINOL became the second company in the CIS region, after Lukoil, authorized to produce the specially formulated 4LL (Long Life) AMINOL M-14D2 locomotive oil.
